How do I know if my home needs more insulation?+
Common signs are high energy bills, rooms that are too hot or cold, drafts, and ice dams on the roof. If your attic insulation is level with or below the floor joists, it's almost certainly time to top up.
How long does an attic insulation job take?+
Most attic top-ups are completed in a single day. Removal plus re-insulation typically takes one to two days depending on the size of the attic.
Do I need to leave my home during the work?+
No. For blown-in attic insulation you can stay home as usual. For spray foam we'll advise a short period away from the work area while the foam cures.
Can insulation qualify for rebates?+
Yes. Insulation upgrades are often eligible for provincial and utility rebate programs. We'll explain which programs may apply and provide the documentation you need.
